Who we are
Decades of hands-on trucking ownership and operations
We take entrepreneurs from paperwork to first paid load — entity formation, FMCSA authority, insurance, equipment, drivers, dispatch, and back office. Run by people who have held a Class A and managed fleets.
Nationwide Trucking Consultants LLC helps entrepreneurs and existing carriers launch, grow, and operate successfully across the United States. Our owners come from Class A driving and fleet management backgrounds, so the guidance you get is operational, not theoretical.
Our mission is simple: make the trucking industry navigable for owner-operators and fleet owners through honest, reliable, professional consulting — so you can spend your attention on building a profitable business instead of decoding regulations.
One-on-one support. You work directly with the people doing the filing and regulations.
Nationwide coverage. Formation, authority, and permits in all 50 states.
Transparent pricing. Flat fees, no additional cost for added trucks, no equity, no access to your bank accounts.
Fast turnaround. Every step runs in parallel while FMCSA processes your authority.
Real industry knowledge. 20+ years of combined driving, dispatch, and fleet experience.
The three-tier model
Setup, freight dispatching, & ongoing administration
You can engage all three or start with the first and add the others as you grow.
01
Business setup & authority
We turn the legal and regulatory hurdles into a predictable checklist — entity formation through active operating authority, with every file assembled audit-ready from day one.
LLC or corporation formation, EIN, operating agreements
USDOT number and MC authority filing

IRP, IFTA, and UCR registration
Insurance submission and binding coordination
VIN verification and state CMV registration
Driver qualification, drug & alcohol, and maintenance policies

02

Route planning to minimize deadhead miles
Dedicated freight and contract opportunities
Broker packet and carrier packet setup

Factoring introductions for faster cash conversion
Driver communication and load management
03
Ongoing administration
A compliant carrier is continuous administrative work. We can run the back office entirely, or train you to run it with dashboards and periodic strategy reviews.
Driver recruiting, screening, and qualification files
MVR, PSP, CDLIS, and background checks
Drug consortium enrollment and Clearinghouse reporting
Quarterly IFTA filing and MCS-150 biennial updates

Our specialty
Why we
push clients toward flatbed.
Flatbed freight consistently commands a higher revenue per mile than dry van or reefer — and the skill required to haul it is exactly what keeps competition out.
Lumber, steel, pipe, construction materials, machinery, and large fabricated components all need specialized equipment, proper securement, and drivers who know tarping, chaining, and binders. That barrier to entry rewards operators with the right systems: higher per-mile pricing and longer relationships with contractors and shippers.
We recruit only the most experienced and professional drivers. Our shipper/broker relationships only run the most profitable lanes from point A to point B.
Illustrative — two-truck operation averaging ~6,100 combined miles/week
| Scenario | Rate/mile | Weekly gross | vs. baseline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conservative | $2.70 | $16,470 | — |
| Mid-market | $3.20 | $19,520 | +18.5% |
| Strong | $3.50 | $21,350 | +29.6% |
Every $0.10 gained in rate per mile adds roughly $610 per week in gross across 6,100 miles, while most overhead stays fixed per trip. That is why we enforce minimum rate thresholds and target under 120 deadhead miles — so rate gains land in net income rather than top-line noise. Figures are illustrative estimates, not projections of your results. See full disclaimer below.
